What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage and similar browser storage can serve comparable purposes, such as keeping you signed in or remembering a preference for a short time.
What Tiplume uses today
We do not run third-party advertising networks on Tiplume. The categories below reflect what the live product uses now.
Strictly necessary and security-related
Our hosting and application infrastructure may set or process technologies needed to deliver pages, protect against abuse, and maintain secure connections. Blocking these may prevent parts of the site from working.
Authentication and session
When you sign in, Supabase authentication sets session cookies (and may use related browser storage) so you can stay logged in and access your dashboard securely. These are first-party to Tiplume and are essential for account features.
Creator page view deduplication
When a public creator page records a view, we may set a short-lived HTTP-only cookie (for example tp_pv) so repeat views from the same browser on the same day are not counted multiple times. This cookie is used for page analytics shown to creators, not for advertising.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to measure visits and basic usage on Tiplume. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies as described in Google’s own notices. Analytics is used for product measurement, not for advertising networks on this site.
Preference and functionality
The product may store limited UI or session preferences in browser storage to keep your experience consistent during a visit. We do not use these for cross-site advertising.
Third-party checkout
When you continue to secure hosted card checkout, the payment service provider may set cookies or use similar technologies on its own domain as required to process your payment securely. That processing is governed by the provider’s notices, not this page.
Consent
Strictly necessary cookies do not require a marketing-cookie banner. Google Analytics is a measurement technology that may be treated as non-essential under some privacy laws. Where a consent choice is legally required before analytics runs, Tiplume will present that choice and honour reject as easily as accept. Until a consent control is shown for your visit, you can also limit analytics through your browser settings and Google’s own opt-out tools.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. Blocking the page-view cookie may only affect how duplicate views are counted.
Updates
We will update this policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes materially.
